The most basic type of massage, Swedish offers light to firm pressure. Swedish massages utilize various types of massage strokes including kneading, stretching and gliding. Swedish focuses mostly on relaxation, however it helps promote flexibilty, and improves entire body circulation.
Deep Tissue offers deeper pressure on muscle and soft tissue. It is used to relieve chronic aches and pains, stiffness, muscle spasms, muscle tightness, and more. Includes sports massage, trigger point therapy, and neuromuscular therapy techniques.
Hot or Cold Stone
Warmed river stones or cold marble stones are used on the client's body, Hot or Cold Stone massage is a specialty massage that promotes maximum relaxation. Both stones encourage healing; great for spasms, chronic pain, stress and more.
Silicon cups are used to create a suction as they glide across the body, or stay stationary, creating space and a rush of fresh blood to troubled areas relieving soft tissue pain instantly. Face cupping tightens, brightens and drains face and neck for a fresh glow and refreshed face.
Expecting mothers can get massages too! Certified in prenatal massage, practitioner does techniques that help with the aches and pains of pregnancy. Each trimester allows for different techniques. Client lays in a side-lying position for comfort with added pillows.
If clients need or want a quick neck or shoulder release chair massage is the right fit. Client stays fully clothed, and chair adjust to clients comfort. Usually no lubricant it added and therapist works through clothing to release tight muscles and soft tissue.
